Good Governance is about the processes for making and implementing decision.

It’s not about making

decisions “correct” decisions, about the best possible process for making those decisions .With its
characteristics: Good governance is Accountable, Transparent, Following the rule of law, Responsive,
Effective and Efficient, Equitable and Inclusive and Participatory.

Social Responsibility is an Ethical obligation of every person in society and a duty of every individual to
perform and to maintain balance between economy and the ecosystem

As the students of Baliwag Polytechnic College with the Department of College of Accountancy in Business
Information Technology and Engineering ( CABITE ). We conducting immersion program in the Library in
BTECH with the permission of Miss Joana Mae Dela Cruz (DOLE GIP).

Purpose of the Program

Educate students on functionality, organization and purpose of libraries so that they can be library users for life

Demonstrate how to research with purpose and process

Promote and Foster a Love for reading for pleasure and learning

Develop library collection that encompass a variety of formats to support students

Facilitate the use of technology for learning research and communication

The immersion program will provide theories, tools,

and strategies to build your capabilities in this
outcomes areas .Engage in ongoing reflective practice
order to create and sustain renewal and growth of
information literacy program development leadership.
Exercise leadership within the library and throughout
camps in order to strategically influence library,
curricular, instructional decision and develop
partnership for educational.

Regularly analyze the campus and higher education

environment in order to design an information
literacy program that aligns with and contributes to
institutional mission outcomes.
Develop a culture o f assessment and continuous
Learning in order to capitalize on strengths as well as
opportunities for change. Develop and articulate
a personal perspective on information literacy in
order to make its applications to professional and
personal life effective and meaningful.
All Immersion programs establish a learning community n which participants contribute to the success of the
program through active engagement. Immersion was a great opportunity to build a sense of community and
togetherness
I believe in total immersion, if you want to be rich, you have to program your mind to be rich. You have to unlearn

all the thoughts that were making you poor and replace them with new things new thoughts-rich thoughts.”
