“Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Kepesertaan BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri pada Sektor
Informal Pekerja Mebel di Kelurahan Antang Kota Makassar Tahun 2018”

Aspek kepesertaan merupakan indikator keberhasilan tercapainya Universal Health

Coverage 2019. Namun, mayoritas pekerja mebel di kelurahan Antang tidak termasuk dalam
peserta BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepesertaan
BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri pada sektor informal pekerja mebel di Kelurahan Antang kota Makassar
tahun 2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain cross
sectional study. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini yakni sebanyak 51 orang yang merupakan
pekerja mebel yang merupakan dan bukan merupakan peserta BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri.
Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode exhaustive sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 51
orang. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi square.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap kepesertaan
BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri pada pekerja mebel di Kelurahan Antang adalah pendidikan (p=0,003),
pengetahuan (p=0,000), pendapatan (p=0,000), Sikap (p=0,000), persepsi (p=0,000), dukungan
sosial (p=0,000) dan persepsi terhadap risiko di tempat kerja (p=0,000). Sedangkan variabel yang
tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepesertaan BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri pada pekerja mebel di Kelurahan
Antang adalah umur (p=0,526), dan akses pada pelayanan (p=0,726).
Saran kepada pihak BPJS Kesehatan yaitu diharapkan agar lebih giat lagi melakukan
sosialisasi tentang JKN dan untuk lebih memperhatikan penerapan program JKN agar kedepannya
dapat terlaksana lebih baik.

Membership aspect is an indicator of the success of Universal Health Coverage 2019.

However, the majority of furniture workers in Antang village are not included in the membership
of BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri (BPJS Independent Health).

This study aims to determine factors related to the participation of BPJS Kesehatan
Mandiri on informal sector of furniture workers in Antang urban communities, city of Makassar
in 2018. Kind of research conducted is quantitative research using cross sectional study design.
The number of population in this research was 51 people who are a furniture workers which is a
member and not a member of BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri. Sampling using exhaustive sampling
method obtained as many as 51 samples. The data analysis is univariate and bivariate analysis
with chi square test.

Based on the result of the research, the variables influencing the participation of BPJS
Kesehatan Mandiri in furniture workers in Antang Urban Communities are Education (p =
0,003), Knowledge (p = 0,000), Income (p = 0,000), Attitude (p = 0,000), Perception = (0,000),
Social support (p = 0,000) and Perceived risk at work (p = 0,000). While the variables that do not
affect the participation of BPJS Kesehatan Mandiri on furniture workers in Antang Urban
Communities are Age (p = 0,526), and Access to the service (p = 0,726).

Suggestions to the BPJS Kesehatan is expected to be more active to socialize about JKN
and look carefully at the implementation of JKN program so the program can be much better in
the future.
