Analysis of Through the Eyes of the Enemy by Stanislav Lunev

Stanislav Lunev was a Soviet GRU agent who defected to the United States in
March of 1992 after a successful career of intelligence gathering from China and
the United States. As the highest-ranking military defector to the U.S., he is in a
unique position to detail the intelligence aspect of the cold war and the
emergence of the Russian mafia as a threat to national security. His only book to
date was published May 25, 1998.
[Note: This book was published 20 years ago and much has changed with
geopolitics. The purpose of this analysis, in relation to Q post #827 on February
24, 2018, is to aid in decoding the meaning of the post.]

Chapter 1 Target: America

Mr. Lunev was a Colonel in the GRU which is now called the SVR, equivalent to
military intelligence. After his defection in 1992, he cooperated with the CIA and
FBI in the witness protection program. He stated that if he only had one message
to convey to his American friends it would be this: the Cold War is not over—the
new Cold War is between the Russian mafia and the U.S. government. He says they
have every tool, every weapon, every intelligence asset at its disposal that the old
Soviet Union had. America is facing a nation led by gangsters with nuclear
weapons.
When the old Soviet Union collapsed, the mafia began buying up all the industries.
They also bought the government. He says he defected to America rather than
work for a gang of criminals. The truth is that the Russian mafia caused the collapse
of the Soviet Union. Today, Russian mobsters have open positions as industrialists,
entrepreneurs, and politicians and the Russian Federation is run as a mob-held
territory. But, more importantly about 300 of the Russian gangs operate
internationally. Twenty-six of them are operating now in the United States.
Russian Mafia in America
In America, the mafia relies on Russian immigrants who congregate in the
major cities. Typical activities are prostitution and drugs. For legal cover, they
buy companies in a cash industry such as gas stations and convenience stores.
One of their most despicable crimes is the trafficking of Russian and Ukrainian
women around the world to work as prostitutes. Mayors of the largest cities are
welcoming Russian mobsters to their communities. New York and Chicago are
two of the biggest targets for these mobsters.
And just like in Russia, mobsters are trying to influence national politics. For
example, Vadim Rabinovich attended a fundraising dinner in America in
September of 1995 and had his picture taken with President Clinton. At the time,
his Visa was revoked because he was known to have ties to organized crime.
Vadim’s business partner Grigori Loutchanski had dinner with Clinton in 1993 and
then had a private meeting with him and Al Gore, the VP. At this time, Grigori
was on a “watch list” as being suspected as a criminal. [Note: Russian mafia
meets Western mafia. Is it possible that Lunev was/is a bridge between the
Russian mafia and the Deep State mafia and his defection was just a cover to
perform this function?]
New joint ventures between American and Russian companies are nothing more
than the Russian mafia trying to enter the economy of the U.S. Russia is also
helping Iran and North Korea develop nuclear weapons.

Russian Bombs on American Soil

Lunev also said that Russian military intelligence has penetrated America to the
extent that arms caches lie in wait for Russian special forces. Russia remains
terrified of American military power. Russian GRU are training now in the U.S.
They are supplied through popular drop sites in the Shenandoah Valley outside of
Washington, DC and the Hudson River Valley outside of NYC. They even have
suitcase-sized nuclear bombs which weigh from 50 to 60 pounds.
 Russia has also been a leader in the development of EMP weapons. These EMP
pulses will destroy all electronic circuits. They have also developed the use as a
weapon of very, very low frequency radio signals. Studies have shown that these
waves can destroy the brain. This technology can also be used to influence
brains, such as putting people into a zombie state or use in brainwashing.
