Andrea Bocelli

is a tenor, musician , writer and Italian music producer. He has recorded ten
complete operas (Andrea Chenier , Carmen , Cavalleria Rusticana , Il
Trovatore , La Bohème , Manon Lescaut , Pagliacci , Roméo et Juliette ,
Werther and Tosca ) plus discs with classical and pop songs. It is an
internationally known singer who has sold over 75 million records worldwide

At age 6 he began studying piano and then began with flute and saxophone.
Andrea Bocelli was born with congenital glaucoma that left him partially
blind . At the age of 12, because of a blow to the head during a football game ,
blindness was complete . Determined not to let this destroy his career, he went
ahead with great willpower , already had at that age.

To finish high school , he enrolled at the University of Pisa , reaching a degree
in law but no time left next to his true passion . He was able to reconcile the
law classes singing lessons he received from the teacher and great Italian tenor
Franco Corelli . He also appeared in numerous local , allowing perfect their
vocal technique .

In recording the demo Bocelli Cenzatti married Enrica , whom he met in 1987
when she played the piano in bars .
