The WYO announces auditions
for 2015 activities
Join the WYO in 2015!
Auditions are open for all orchestra section
Regulation and how to apply:
= Candidates can be aged from 18 to 28 years old
= Candidates can be of any nationality from around the world and must hold a valid passport able to
apply for any necessary visa
= WYO does not charge any fee to submit the application
= WYO covers travel costs and full board accommodation for musicians
1. Allcandidates must send a record with the repertory specified for each instrument below. It can be

In July 2002 the Orchestra has been appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and in 2003 it has
received the Medal and Silver Plaque of the President of the Italian Republic.
Thanks to its international representation and to the strength in witnessing ideals of peace,
brotherhood and youth, the World Youth Orchestra has obtained support from many personalities
of pre-eminent world institutions: the Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan, the
President of the European
Union, the Secretary General of the European Council. The young musicians of the World Youth
Orchestra, representing the five continents, embody these ideals, bringing a new message of
brotherhood to the world. The projects include high-level training, participation in international
musical events, music master classes held my well known music professors and musicians,
strengthening multi cultural and human values through the universal language of music.
