MICRO SEPARATOR

Fuel coalescer Fuel treatment

Pollution, contamination- and water separator

Due to the new EN-590 and FAME standards

for diesel fuel, your fuel has become a
breeding ground for bacteria, microbes, yeast
and molds.
Common rail engines are very sensitive to this type of
contamination. The contamination is a combination
of sludge, sand, rust and acid caused by the formation
of bacterial growth. This contamination is the leading
cause of mechanical failure to your fuel pump and fuel
injector system.

The Purpose of our Micro-Separator Fuel Coalescer (MFC) series:

Our Micro-Separator Fuel Coalescer separates the pollution and
contamination from the fuel and polishes it to the best possible pre-
filtered fuel for your engine.

What does the MFC separate from my fuel?

- Water, sand and rust.
- Sludge formed by bacterial growth.

Because of the properties of the common rail fuel system, about

5 times the consumption rate of the engine is used to cool the
injectors and is returned to the fuel tank.

The dynamic action of the MFC allows only cleaned, polished and
filtered fuel to your engine, and return fuel to the equipment fuel
tank which results in the polluted fuel tank being cleaned while
the engine is running. This constant cleaning action ensures your
fuel supply is as pure and clean as possible.

Installation
The MFC series should be installed in line with the fuel line,
between the fuel tank and the primary filter and fuel supply
pump. This installation ensures you are protecting the fuel filters
from being clogged by dirt and sludge and you are providing the
cleanest possible diesel fuel to your engine.

Operating process.
The MFC series operates according 4 laws of physics.
• Centrifugal force • Coalescence
• Surface tension • Gravity force

Specifications of the MFC:

• Separates 99.5% of all water from the fuel
• Separates all solid debris including sand, rust and sludge from the fuel
• Separates contamination caused by bacterial growth
• Continuously cleans the fuel tank during engine operation
• No internal moving parts
• No internal filters that need to be replaced
• 5 year warranty

Maintenance :
When the dirt compartment is full, simply drain the fuel Coalescer and water sensor
continue operation of the engine.
We recommend to drain the dirt compartment regularly , or install the
optional water sensor alarm kit. The water sensor gives an optical and
audio-able alarm, and can also be connected to a warning light in the dash
board of the machine or equipment.
