This project proposes an automatic railway crossing system using a PLC that opens and closes barriers at crossings based on train presence and position to prevent accidents. The system uses sensors to detect trains and activate motors to open and close barriers, while also using a PLC and relays to stop trains if on the same track or if obstacles are present. It aims to improve safety by removing the need for human operation and reducing accidents.

Project Name: Automatic Railway crossing system using PLC.
Description: This is fully automated system. The barriers at the railway
crossing will be automatically open /close when the train will be came/ arrived and passed away. There will be security system due to which if the two trains will be on same track then they will be stop & there will be no accident. And if there will be any obstacle in the way of train then the train will automatically stop.
Advantages: No manpower used. Security System. Boom Barrier(Automatically open/close). Less accident.
