MEP 69 Please provide the acceptable template for DB schedules Aquatics MM-GDC ELE 20/12/17 12/21/2017 DB Schedule format shared on email which later Mathew Starr/Abdul Chand 12/20/2017
confirmed by GDNA.
We shall base our Amtech Prodesign Modelling with below fundamentals and request your concurrence for
same
• Spare Voltage Drop
a. Main DB – 1.5%
b. Sub Main DB – 1.5%
c. For Final Lighting & Power DBs – 2.0% (Leaving 1% for the final equipment, considering 6% voltage drop
as maximum as per BS 7671 Appendix 12, Table 12A)
• Spare Loads – We are considering 20% spare load at individual feeder level and it will automatically
carry forward the spare loads at the SMDB/MCC/MDBs level.
• Temperature for cables – Considered as 45 Degree C for all cables Use discretion for spare capacity : in DBs where we have the laods fully
MEP 70 • Cable Installation Method – As shown on drawings. Aquatics MM-GDC ELE 20/12/17 12/21/2017 Mathew Starr/Abdul Chand 12/20/2017 determined use 10%, where there is no knowledge of subfeeders use 20%.
• Grouping of cable circuits – Maximum 10 Nos. of circuits/tray. This will be ascertained wrt. actual cable GDNA will inform the derating factor for conversion from multicore to ECC
installations and in worst scenario is limited to 10 circuits/Tray. cable. 35 deg celcius. ABB breakers are acceptable
• Make and Type of breaker – ABB Make Circuit Breakers. For protection we shall consider LSIG for
Incomers and LSI for all outgoing feeders. Incase of two breakers on the single cable run (e.g.. Main Panel to
subpanel connections), we shall provide upstream with protection and downstream as isolator.
• Cable route lengths – This shall be ascertained from the final coordinated drawings.
• Cable Size – Maximum cable cross section shall be limited to 185mm2.
• In Amtech Library, we don’t have any cable type with integral earth concentric cables. For Modelling
simulations, we shall select the multicore phase cable with 70 Deg C thermoplastic (PVC) armoured copper
with separate single core earth continuity cable.
Noted, I agreed that the benifit of using a heat recover system is limited.
With regards to you comment about only dealing with the air load, this will
obviously inturn deal with the cooling load in the space as you are
providing it at a lowever temp than the design temp.
The AC units serving the seating FOP area shall be 100% Fresh air unit with heater bank( to operate during Can you confirm based on the design Delta T how much load is being
winters ) & the exhaust shall be through roof as per Richard's sketch . Extract fans shall be installed at roof provided. I estimate this to be approx 96kW which gives about 64w per
level .We are providing fresh air at 18°C as per RFI MEP 02. to provide comfort conditions at spectator person assuming design temp of 22degC, and 20m3/s. This is a little light
seating area. but assumes a full occupancy.
As the air travels through the entire FOP area picking up Heat to the Extract fans at the Barge roof level the 05/01/18 06/01/18 Richard Hall/Vinay I am concerned that none of the frabic load is being concidered,
temprature shall rise to 26 - 28 °C thus leaving little or no scope of heat recovery as the ambient air is at Ramsundara this shouldn't be a huge load but I thin we do need to include something.
30°C. Therefore we haven't planned any return for the same. What is this load? Can it be introduced somewhere elese?
Also we are not considering people & envelope load as to cater the same the off-coil temperature shall have 1. Can you confirm how you arrived at 20m3/s
to be reduced to 12 °C approx. which may result in condensation at supply points. 2. Can you confirm why you have allowed for heating, is this actually
required?
3. Please allow for the ability to reduce the temperature below 18 for a
short period of time to deal with higher loads.
4. Please confirm Fabric Cooling Loads.
