Response in Case of Loss of Materials Described in Point 15

1. If, prior to a shipment, a loss of materials is detected with the control book, promptly report to the UNIQLO staff member in charge, and search the whole factory.

2. If the materials cannot be found by any means, do another full inspection including products packed in cartons, to check for any processing error.

3. If the re-inspection finds no problems, report to the UNIQLO staff member in charge, place an additional order with the manufacturer of the indirect materials, or cope with the shortage.

4. Respond in the same way as above in case of a shortage of materials due to loss during manufacturing.

Handling of Repairs

1. After checking the care label of repairs, the Product Finish Team Leader matches the correct tag to the product, returns it to the processing station himself/herself, and gives clear work instructions.

2. Use hangers and boxes etc. to control and separate repaired products by country.

Confirming the Use of This Manual

1. Once a month when visiting the factory, the UNIQLO production manager checks that the work is done according to this manual.

2. Keep an inspection record of indirect materials by item code and by delivery lot at the site, which is to be checked monthly when UNIQLO visits.

3. Attach the record of the number of surplus materials being incinerated by item code to the control book for auxiliary quantities after processing has been completed, and submit to UNIQLO.
