Celebrating His Life Memories filled with Love Order of Service

Dorman Ray Hill Sr. was born on June 25, 1953 in


Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William B. Hill Sr. and Eula Musical Prelude
Hill.
Processional Family
Dorman grew up in Cincinnati where he attended public
school, graduating from Taft High School. After Scripture Reading
graduation, he furthered his education by taking some
college courses, and later moved to Philadelphia where he

met and married Valerie Hill in 1976. To this union two
children were born, Dorman Ray Hill, II and Jeaneen
Orine Hill.

Dorman was a diligent, hard worker, employed by Glaxo Prayer


Smith Kline for several years. In 1989 he accepted a
position with Montgomery County Correctional Facility Musical Selection Norma Wadlington
as a Correctional Officer. Dorman enjoyed his job and
received numerous certificates of achievement until his

retirement in 2008.

Dorman accepted Christ at an early age and was an Acknowledgements


active church member. After relocating back to Ohio, he
became a member of House of God of the Apostolic Faith, Moments of Reflection (Two Minutes Please)
where he faithfully served until his passing.
Musical Selection Albert Morton Jr
Dorman was a true Renaissance Man, he loved old school
music, photography, and always dressed to impress. He

also enjoyed camping and fishing. Retirement agreed
with Dorman, who loved to stay active. He did more
traveling and even took up cycling, often riding at least 5

miles a day. He loved spending time with his family and
will be fondly remembered for his smile and laughter. Recessional Clergy and Family

Dorman Ray Hill, Sr. departed this life into the arms of
the Lord on March 7, 2018.

His loving spirit will forever be cherished by his son, House of God of the Apostolic Faith

Hill, Madeline Gay (Robert), Raymond Hill (Cynthia) and
God-daughter, DeAnna Moore; a host of nephews, nieces,
family and friends. Dorman was preceded in death by
his brothers, William B. Hill, Jr, Michael Hill, Robert Hill
and sisters, Sandra Hill Morton and Denise Hill.
