The poor sanitary practices of the community are what we should prioritize.

Why should we prioritize these diseases?


Poor sanitary practices, such as lack of latrines in the community and improper garbage disposal, may
result to the increase in morbidity and mortality rates of the diseases in the community, such as pneumonia,
diarrhea, and tuberculosis. Prioritization of improving the sanitation in the community will help to decrease
in transmission and number of affected community members of these diseases. Also, in comparison to the
other health problems, poor sanitation is relatively easier to address by the local government unit.
