PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
SAUDI ARAMCO, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia 12/2011-10/2017
Project Manager |Project Interface Manager| Project Engineer
Strategized recovery plan to reduce a projected delay of 12 months to 4 months for the $460MM, 600km, 42”
NGL pipeline from Shedgum to Yanbu project by closely coordinating with main contractor, fabricator, key
stakeholders and other project interfaces.
Key Contributions
Accelerated completion of FEED package for the construction of the Abqaiq to Yanbu pipeline tie-in, a 200
km, 52" heavy crude pipeline, three months ahead of schedule, reducing engineering costs and office space by
$150M; scope included construction of the pipeline to tie in existing pipeline as well as upgrading pumps at
existing tank farm, installation of new 1MM barrel storage tank, custody transfer metering, and new electrical
substation.
Championed the use of project management tools (communication matrix, look ahead schedule, risk matrix
and issues log) to achieve schedule improvement of six months in the installation and commissioning of
equipment for Upgrading Security and Surveillance systems ($600MMD) throughout the country.
Augmented, developed, and incorporated corporate initiatives into project specific plans to improve quality of
engineering design and promote development of Saudi Nationals as part of Saudi Aramco’s Accelerated
Transformation Program (ATP).
Conceptualized detailed interface matrix tool and interface management plan which served to reduce re-work
by 15% and was applied for coordinating the work of multiple disciplines working on the USD1B King
Abdulaziz Sports City project in Jeddah, KSA.
Key Contributions:
Drove ~ $5 - 10MM new business by expanding business development outside the US.
Achieved margin improvement of 5%+ by developing a complex change order to recover costs accrued
through standby and client-related delays.
Key Contributions:
Expanded installed base on the BP Alaska MAC Program generating an additional $75 million USD of project
opportunities.
Accomplished the completion of the Basell Refinery Safety System Upgrade in record time, eliminating
liquidated damages and receiving an early completion bonus instead ($250M)
