In the praise of Hadrat Syed Ahmed Badapa

You were the oldest preacher in Hyderabad who visited and settled here
With you, Islam was benefitted a lot in Hyderabad city and reached high

You were a great disciple of Sufi master Hadrat Nizamuddin Auliya

your miracle which is known visiting Delhi from Hyderabad in night

In one night you were in service of your master and came to the city
For this great one night journey made you well known in the world

Due to your great endeavor, Islam was entered in the higher position
And all over an area of Hyderabad your name and fame spread everywhere

Oh, Shah of Deccan, you are old pioneer preachers in Hyderabad city
Due to your sake and dignity, there is a blessing in your shrine area

Hafeez is your old slave and once he visited your holy grave
And find many of the blessing and peaceis there, for the visitors

For the sake of the Sultan of Madina oh Lord God increase his status
And his old salve Hafeez is begging with you for him and needy persons

Shah of Deccan entered in Doulatabad in the 709 Heigra with his friend
Hadrat Burhanuddin who is well known and Sufi master of the time

Nasir Doulah who ruled in Hyderabad in the period 1244-1273 Hegira

And during his rule, his grave was discovered by butcher Balan Choudhry

Balan Choudhary lost his large number of goats in the mountain area
In his dream in the night who told him that “He is Syed Ahmed Badepa"

And your goats are grazing on the other side of some other mountain
In the morning Choudhry wake and went up to that mountain finds his goats

As Choudhary, who recovered his grave so Shah of Deccan was kind to him
He became immediately his devotee and constructed his new grave again
