    Washington St / Thompson Blvd / Chestnut St
    Crosswalk Upgrade Project
    March 16, 2018

    As part of the Washington St / Thompson Blvd / Chestnut St Crosswalk Upgrade Project,


    Monday March 19th, construction of the signal pole foundations will be commencing. This part of the
    project should last no more than five days.

    During this phase of the project, there may be work vehicles and crew members alongside or in the
    roads. Crews will install temporary barricades, signage and have flagmen on-site throughout the
    duration of the project. Drivers should watch out for, and obey all flaggers and temporary road signs.
    Drivers should also expect short delays, and the slowing down of traffic flow. Motorists are encouraged
    to use alternate routes if possible for the duration of the job. If traveling through this work area,
    exercise extreme caution.

    The City of Watertown Engineering Department would like to thank you for your patience and
    cooperation while this work is completed.
