My goal is let the children learn to letter k and know the sound of the letter, knowing words that start with the
letter k.

- After that game I will throw the ball to the students and who can catch the ball, they will gave me
a word that start with letter K.
- Students will have a worksheet that has 5 different picture and they have to color the picture that
start with the letter K.
- In this area students will find the pictures that start with letter K, and they will make letter K by
pictures.
Time:15 min
In the end of the lesson I will gave each students a white bored and marker, then I will let them to
write or draw what they learn in this lesson, so I can check if they understanding the lesson or not.

After that I show them a video of the sound of the letter, so everyone in the class can say the
sound of the letter, whenever they see the letter. Then I show them a video that explained how to
write the letter in two shape lowercase and uppercase. To make sure that they learned the
different between the uppercase and the lowercase, I played with them a game, which is
throughing the ball randomly and they have to say a word that start with letter K.
After that, I made some different challenging activities for a different levels of the students, so the
activities will be suitable for their level abilities and their understanding.
Describe (D):
The lesson is for the students in KG 1 which are 5 and 4 years old, the lesson were in the
classroom, and I did the introduction of the lesson in the circle area, and the activities in their
places which is in the table.
For clarifying, I was trying to achieve in the lesson is deliver the information for the children in
an interested way, Also, I was focusing in let them behave during the lesson, so I used classroom
management’s strategy such as the happy and the sad face.

Students were so excited during the story events, they were interesting because they want to
know what the next events of the story because children are always curious. Furthermore, this
techniques was very effective because children are interesting in stories, and they will notice that
everything that start with letter k.
In the end of the lesson, I give the a white board, so they will write the letter K and draw an
object that start with letter k, and I notice that their some students can’t write correctly so they
will have extra worksheets to practice in writing.

Students were active, enjoyment on the activities that I gave them, and they were focus on me
during the lesson.
Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?
For clarification, I achieved my learning goals, because during the activities I ask the students
lots of questions and they were response me in the correct way. For example, I asked Marcus
what is the sound of letter k, and he answered me the right sound, then I went to Shaan and I
asked her to give words that start with letter k, and she said Kian. Furthermore, in the end of the
lesson, during the prior activity I noticed that most of the students write letter k in correct way.

How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?
In this lesson, I will bring a real object that start with letter K and I will let each students to touch
the object and say the name of the object.
