“India One”
Solar Thermal Power Plant
World Renewal Spiritual Trust
Abu Road, Rajasthan, India

Keeping a vision of creating a sustainable community

model, Brahma Kumaris and its daughter organization,
World Renewal Spiritual Trust (WRST), have been using
solar energy solutions on a large scale to cater for the
energy needs in the form of hot water, steam for cooking
and electricity.
In this view, presently, with the help of wide first-hand
experience & applied research in the field of 2 Days Residential Workshop on
Concentrating Solar Heat technologies, WRST is executing Concentrating Solar Technologies for
“India One” Solar Thermal Power Plant. This R&D project

Indian Ambassador
to Finland

Golo Pilz, the Head of “India One” Project and Brahma Kumaris Advisor for Renewable Energy, visited number of
European countries in summer this year. He held about 30 programs on “World in Transition” topic and the specific
role of solar energy and meditation in that. He also took part in the panel discussion within the side event during
UNFCCC in Bonn, Germany in June, 2015.

In August, September and October 2015, number of programs took place at CST Center in Abu Road: two
CST Technology Trainings for current and new manufacturers, technicians, installers, scholars and CST
Awareness Seminar for end users, consultants, entrepreneurs and scholars. Participants explored the
technology & application sides of various CST based systems, providing a solid foundation towards the aim
of creating new solar thermal installations for process heat at institutional & industrial establishments
throughout the country. Programs included also visits to working CST installations at Brahma Kumaris
ashrams. All guests took also personal benefit from a peaceful atmosphere and meditation experience.

BK Jayasimha, CEO of “India One” plant, presented an
