SOCIO-ECONOMIC STUDY

The TLC Retirees Activity Center was expected to affect the local communities
surrounding the site with respect to the socio-economic aspect. The Center will provide
more job opportunities and as well promote the health and wellness of our retirees.

The said Center supports the project of the City Government to promote the
wellbeing of our Retirees. On the other hand, the Center will charge minimal fees in
order to facilitate these activities and catering to the needs and schedule of our
retirees.The Center can help the government to support its projects by generating profits
through the taxes paid therefore the Center can contribute to the economic growth of the
country. The government, the people, the consumers, the related industries, and the
workers employed will be the beneficiaries of this project.

The evaluation of the study draws the attention of the following:

Employment

The business will provide job opportunities to many individuals most especially
to those who are very dedicated to the elderly . With regards to this, every community
has an ambition that all of its citizens are employed to ensure that the community is well
provided with their needs. Employment would have a great impact to the government
because it would ensure that children of those citizens would be sent to school,
individuals are provided with decent homes, and medical attention if the need arises and
ensure a stable government income through the taxes paid.

This employment opportunity provided by the Center would contribute to the

eventual improvement of the living conditions of its’ employees. Approximately
Php1,800,00 total worth of salary for the company’s employees will be given in a year,
net of contributions.

Benefits to the Government

The government will benefit in the form of generated incomes of the center and
can help generate income for the government to support its programs through the taxes
paid by the center. Through this, the government can able to perform its function and

help improve the current situation of the business industry. It would help the community
projects of the government such as building infrastructures, public schools, hospitals and
many more.

The political and legal environment consists of laws and government agencies
that could influence various aspects of the business and individuals involved in the
company.

In lieu with this, the center will commit to the government by following rules and
regulations and policies provided by the local government to insure fairness. The center
will consider government concerns regarding our business such as sanitary, fire, city
ordinances and others. Thus, the center commits that it will pay their respective tax dues
on time as mandated by the law.

People in the Community

The goal of this project is to train and hire employees from the local community
in order to help them establish a fixed source of income. The project is also open to new
opportunities and ideas from its possible investors as well.

Customers

The project will provide a convenient place for the retirees an . It will also assure
the children or guardian of the retirees that they are in good hands ,ensuring their well
being is being taken care of by engaging them in different social,educational and
recreational activities.Furthermore, the project will guarantee customer satisfaction to
both the retirees and their children or guardians.

Related Industries

With the operation of the project,other industries will also benefit and might
develop new ideas that will generate more income and promote the well being of our
clients. The project will purchase equipments,render services from electric and water
companies that will benefit them as well.
