project guidelines, meeting deadlines, and working effectively with other professionals are all things vital

for different instruments and different genres. The project demands a final body of contrasting
work.
Scenario A production company is looking to employ composers for a series of television and radio
projects, and has asked applicants to provide a portfolio of their work. The projects are varied
and different musical styles will be required, therefore the candidates must show that they can
compose for both a range of musicians performing and a range of different styles. The
production company will supply a task for applicants, whereby a sonically and artistically
appropriate composition is required for a given project by a given date.
