1. I wish to apply for membership to the Guyana Sport Shooting Federation Inc.
2. I am willing to attend an interview if deemed necessary to be conducted by the G.S.S.F. Membership
Processing Panel at a specified time.
3. I understand that I must successfully complete any required Safety Course(s) prior being given clearance to
engage in activities facilitated by the Federation and before I can be considered for Full Membership.
4. Upon attaining such membership I agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations set out in the Constitution of
the Guyana Sport Shooting Federation.
5. I have read and understand the content of this form and the terms and conditions outlined herein,

rejection of my application and/or suspension of subsequent membership.

Terms and Conditions

In order for this membership application to be processed by the Guyana Sport Shooting Federation Inc. the following shall
apply:
o This form must be completed by applicants and submitted to the Secretary.
o All required fields on this form are to be completed legibly and as required by the headings.
o Applicants must submit a Police Clearance that is valid for at least 3 months from of the date that applicant has
signed this form. In lieu of police clearance a valid firearm license, or a legible copy of their current Law
Enforcement identification for the Guyana Defense Force, Guyana Police Force or Guyana Prison Service.

The names of the prospective members shall be circulated to the general membership of the G.S.S.F. should there be no
objections within 21 days, the prospective members shall be called in at a specific time for an interview with the G.S.S.F.
Membership Processing Panel. Thereafter, provisional membership shall be decided upon by a vote of the Federation’s
Board.
Any applicant rejected for membership cannot be proposed again until a period of one year has elapsed, starting from date
recorded on this form that the Federation received same.

Annual Subscription / Affiliation Fees

There shall be an annual subscription fee, due on the 1st day of April of each year in the sum of $10,000. Or as fixed from
time to time by the Board. Any member or affiliated organisation whose annual fees have not been received by the Treasurer
on or before the 31st May for that year will automatically forfeit membership or affiliation and shall only be re-admitted to
membership or affiliation upon payment of one year’s subscription or affiliation fee and a penalty of 50% of the annual fee.
Fees forfeited for in excess of 2 successive years without the consent of the Board shall require complete reapplication to the
Federation.

Associate Membership
Any resident in Guyana over the age of twelve years may be admitted as an Associate Member on the recommendation of
two members who shall both be responsible for the conduct of that Associate Member. Associate Members shall be under the
direct control of the Board and shall have no voice in the management of the Federation. An Associate Member over the age
of fifteen years may be admitted as a member of the Federation, on the approval of the Board.

Group Membership
Any Group wishing to associate with the Guyana Sport Shooting Federation Inc. shall address itself to the Secretary and
provide whatever information he/she may deem necessary. On notification of acceptance for affiliation, the Group shall
forward to the Treasurer the appropriate and current affiliation fees.
