 Teacher will have placed different words from the
discussion of the different types of weather on the
board or around the space in which the group will be
working
 Student use the words associated with the weather
such as; sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy.
 Children input these words into the ICT tool Word
Salad Lite to generate a brainstorm like document
 Once the children have finished creating their Word
Salad the children are required to screen shot their
work by pressing the home and on/off button at the
same time or export into their camera roll.

Activity 2:
 Using Pic Collage on the iPad children can make a
collage and make a summary of the season
 To create the collage, students will use picture as

well as titles
 Words that the students will likely need to use (e.g
Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn) will be
displayed for the students to use as an aid.
 Children can use the searching tool within in Pic
Collage to find images that represent each of the
seasons
 Once children have finished their Pic Collage they
will be required to screen shot their work
Conclusion
 Call children to finish their work and return to the
tables they normally work, and wait for further
instruction
 Once all children are seated, children open the app

 While children are working on adding to their book,
the teacher is to walk around the classroom making
sure the children are on task
 After they are finished the children are to pack away
the iPads.
 While putting away the iPads in the case, teacher to
write down the child’s name and the device number
they were using in that lesson so that in the
following lessons children can go back and the use
