for a list of standard knitting
abbreviations. An oh-so-elegant cowl that dresses up your neck in a most chic fashion! This cowl is
knit in a simple cable and lace design with ribbed top and bottom edges in a gorgeous
shade of purple. The kid mohair blend yarn is knit on a larger needle, giving the stitch
pattern great depth and softness.
Wear the cowl doubled (as shown) for a sophisticated look, or casually looped around
your neck as a circular scarf.
A deliberate single twist creates the mobius strip that allows this cowl to be worn so
stylishly. The cowl is knit from top to bottom, then given the single twist and seamed.
It's a super easy and quick project with maximum gift-giving appeal! Uses less than 2
balls of the super sumptuous GGH Soft-Kid yarn.

Cont in Cable Lace patt through Row 21 (this will get you through all 16 rows of the Cable
Lace patt). Then, cont through Row 37 by repeating all 16 rows of Cable Lace patt again.
FINISHING
Prepare to seam the ends together by laying knitted piece flat with WS facing you and bind-
off edge at the top. Fold 2 ends (left and right ends) towards center. The RS of these ends
are now facing you. Twist one end so that its WS is now facing you. Seam a WS end
together with a RS end. You've now turned your knitted piece into a mobius strip.
