The greenhouse also known as glasshouse is used to nurture
plants in which it allows to control variables to give a better environment for plant growth including constant temperature. This diagram demonstrates how the greenhouse works in terms of circulating constant heat. As can be seen, the house is designed to trap the heat from the solar energy.
Initially, the greenhouse is left exposed to the sunlight. The heat
and light from the sun move straight to the greenhouse floor and reflect upwards in the house. The light properties that move in a straight line, are applied in this process, in which the house is made of glass, which allows the sunlight to directly pass through it but it cannot get out from it. As the heat is trapped inside the house, it is unable to escape. As a result, the trapped heat circulates around the house and heats up giving a constant temperature needed.
All in all, the greenhouse is designed using glass to allow the sun light to enter and block it to heat up the house constantly.
