Company background: Founded as a one-man, one-room retail shop in New York City’s
garment district, Grey Group is now one of the largest global advertising and marketing agency
network. GREY Advertising Bangladesh Ltd, the Bangladesh office of Grey Group, is the first
and only true global advertising agency in Bangladesh. Being a strict believer in following the
global credo of producing “Famously Effective” works, Grey Adverting Bangladesh Ltd has
become the most awarded and sought after agency of the country.

Department:

 Account management: Only professionals are working on this sector. They runs the
operations and management of the company. They are thrive to reach their best.
 Strategic team: They find the problem of their client and try their best to fulfill client’s
want. Understanding of business problem and solve them, trend, popular culture,
economic shift.
 Creative team: Develop the creative and unique idea for their clients. Write the story and
design the ad.

 Events and activation: They are the part of the marketing mix and marketing process.
Their part is come after the planning process.
 Media team: They are find the media inquiries and do the interview of their client.
 Digital team: organizational design, job titling, reporting structure in terms of digitally
this are the part of this department.
 Human resource: The people who make up the workforce of an organization, business
sector, or economy.
 IT: The IT Department provides the information technology required for the fulfilment of
their clients wants.
 Finance: The part of an organization that manages its money. The business functions of a
finance department typically include planning, organizing, auditing, accounting for and
controlling its company's finances. The finance department also usually produces the
company's financial statements.

Challenges face with clients and overcome them:

Problem:

 Sometime clients has no established brand or brand recognition.


 One major problem is client’s budget is so small.
 Sometimes clients didn’t pay in time.
 Clients execs expectation

Solution:

 Try to give them so much option.


 Understanding their brand and evaluate the brand.
 Convince them of the importance of strategic foundational elements to the success.
 Showing them some flexibility and helping them out.

Successful promotional campaign:

Frutika: Frutika Inspiring Purity Campaign

Frutika is a product of Akij group. Through this campaign they gain huge public awareness. The
advertisement was funny, entertaining and was able to create product recalling and recognition.
The concept of purity could connect to the product successfully.

Grameenphone: Swopno Bari Jabe Amar.

In this campaign they focus on emotional appeal for the advertisement. Basically their target
consumer was rural and urban area people. In Dhaka city most of the people are from different
rural and urban area. They stay in this situation and suffer from various problem and when they
go their village it’s the most joyful moment for them. So they use emotional appeal because
Bangladeshi people are emotional then other nation.
