GRADING SYSTEM AND POLICIES

LONG EXAMS – 70%

FINAL EXAM – 20%
REPORTING / LABORATORY / SPECIAL ACTIVITIES – 10%

PASSING GRADE IS 60% for all exams.

ATTENDANCE – NO GRADE, BUT MUST NOT BE ABSENT FOR MORE THAN 20% OF CLASS ACTIVITIES FOR
THE WHOLE YEAR

ABSENCE ON EXAM DAYS

No special exam will be given, whether the absence is excused or unexcused. Missed long exams will be
taken as a percentage of the items in the final examination.

ABSENCE DURING REPORTING / LABORATORY / SPECIAL ACTIVITY

Any absence during a class activity will automatically be given a grade of 0 if unexcused. Excused
absences will be given consideration only upon submission of a validated medical certificate.

CHEATING DURING EXAMS

Any student caught cheating during exams will be sent out of the exam room and will automatically get
a grade of 0 for the exam. They will also be asked to report to the Dean’s Office for disciplinary action.

SCHOOL UNIFORM
All students are asked to be in their complete uniform, including IDs. Any student not in complete
uniform will be asked to go out of the room, including during examinations, unless a valid permission is
submitted through the Dean’s Office stating the reason for not being in uniform.

HOLIDAYS
Any sudden cancellation of classes aside from those mentioned in the school calendar will not result in
the disruption of regular class schedules. The topic for discussion on that day will now become a
reading assignment for the class, based on the chapter in the prescribed textbook. If the cancellation is
on an examination day, the exam will be rescheduled on another date.

GRADE CONFIRMATION
All exam feedback and grades will be posted on the bulletin board or at the College of Medicine Office,
or shown to the students for confirmation. Students will be also asked to sign a form indicating
knowledge of their exam grades.

CONFORME – TO BE SUBMITTED AFTER READING THE SCHEDULE AND POLICIES
