Course Description: Semester one course is designed to introduce student to the fundamentals of
computing such as hardware and software, data storage and health and
computers.
This course aims to provide practical experience which will includes elements of
discovery, and self-confidence, together with the practical skills that will prepare
students to meet the need for increased productivity.
Course Objectives: With active participation, illustration, discussion, group work and practical
sessions; at the end of the school year all students will be able to:
Course Evaluation: During each semester approximately ten (10) tests/assignments/project will be
given. Each evaluation will carry its own weight factor. The average of these will
be worth 2/3 of the final semester grade; the other 1/3 will come from final exam.
