Reading/Language Arts
Our learning targets for reading this week have included:
*learning about vowel patterns ea (and its 2 sounds)
* learning about adding endings to words that end with
“y”. We change the “y” to “i” and add the ending.
*blending words.
*rhyming words
*understanding syllables
*theme
*learning new vocabulary.
*being able to use adjectives that describe color and shape
Our Writing learning target has focused on writing an invitation! We are
reviewing what an invitation needs to include and learning about the five
w’s: who, what, where, when, and why! We are writing our invitation in a
letter form and are all writing an invitation to the Waukazoo Showcase in
May. We will hang on to them and actually send them home or deliver
them to who we want to invite!!! We are already excited about all the
things we will have to Showcase and show others on that Fun Night!
Science Math
