One day, Si Tanggang told his mother that he wanted to work at town for a better life. With a
heavy heart, his mother allowed him to go. Si Tanggang managed to get a job on a ship. He worked
very hard that the merchant soon decided to marry his daughter with Si Tanggang. Years passed by
and Si Tanggang had become the captain of the ship and a successful merchant.

One day, his ship arrived at his hometown. His mother went to the shore to meet him. Si
Tanggang was ashamed of his mother as she was dressed in rags. He pretended not to know her. As
the ship sailed off into the sea, the old lady prayed to God that her son would be punished for his sins.
Suddenly, a storm appeared and hit the ship. Si Tanggang was turned into a stone statue.

Read the story below and answer the questions that follow.

Aaron owns a tailor shop in town. One day, one of his customers, Madam Wong came to his
shop to collect some clothes which she had instructed Aaron to sew.

Aaron took out the blouse and skirt, Madam Wong tried them on and they fitted her perfectly.
However, she started complaining although there was nothing wrong with the clothes. Aaron kept
quiet. He already knew that Madam Wong is a miser. She hates to spend her money and Aaron
knew her too well.

Madam Wong started bargaining with Aaron. She said that the skirt was too tight and it was
not sewn neatly. Aaron finally gave in. He offered Madam Wong a three-ringgit discount. However,
Madam Wong replied that she left her purse at home and she only brought RM20. She promised to
pay for the remainder later. Aaron knew that she was up to her trick again so he pulled out the skirt
from the plastic bag and told Madam Wong to claim her skirt later when she had the money.

Madam Wong did not expect that. She was shocked. Then, she pretended to search in her
handbag before taking out another twenty ringgit. She gave the money to Aaron.

“No, no, Madam Wong. It’s RM52. Another twelve ringgit, please,” said Aaron firmly.
Madam Wong reluctantly pulled out twelve ringgit more from her handbag.
