OBJECTIVE

TOOLS AND MATERIALS

1. Centripetal- designed instrument

2. Stopwatch
3. Spring balance
4. Balance mark

PROCEDURE

1. Set instruments as in the following figure A

2. Measure mass of object, MA, MB with balance and then measure it’s weight
3. Rotate centripetal designed instrument by following cequirement below
a. The length of radius rotating is made constant of 0.5 m
b. Make frequency of rotating is stable
c. Caluculate at time taken of 20 rotating times
4. Do experiment several times by changing the mass of object A

5. Study the data, compare coloumn 3 with coloumn 8, is there any relationship between coloumn
3 and coloumn 8? Make your comclusion !
6. How is the relationship between centripetal force and it’s linear speed?
7. Wriye the relationship between Fc in mass (m), radius (R), and time period (T) ? conclude it!
