PHOTOSHOP

INTRODUCTION:

Photoshop is tool used for editing and re-creating an image in their respective formats. There
are some basic tools and their methods used for editing in photoshop.

Photoshop was first was to be sold to apple and adobe. Apple refused to buy, but adobe
bought them in their franchise

Every image will be opened only in background. To use it we need to select ten layers in it,
Then only we can proceed.

TOOLS USED IN PHOTOSHOP:

1.Pen tool: used to draw on an image.Allign lines automatically.

2.Move tool: used to move an image.

3.Lasso tool: used to select an image so that it could be cut and used somewhere.

4.Polygon lasso tool:In this tool which is just like lasso tool,will select an image in straight
lines so that it could cover any part of an image.But to select it we must bring the last line to
the initial point of the selection

5.Magetic lasso tool:This tool will select the grid edge in an image,so that it could be used
accurately

6.Magic wand tool:In this tool,we can select an image of our shape and copy the color to be
pasted in any part of the image.Rather known for quick selection.

7.crop tool:This tool is very similar.It is used to cut the image in our desired shape.

8.Patch tool:To use the patch tool,select the part in the image to be copied,select the place to
be placed,and then drag it over.

9.Brush tool:Used to draw in the image.To change the size of the brush there are two methods

1.[-to make the brush bigger

2.]-to make the brush smaller

10.Eraser:Erases the image making it white.

11.Gradient tool:Gradient tool is a combo of colours used to make a slanting line of colors in
our desired breath.we can scroll the mouse for the size we need.

12.Blur tool:To make parts of the image misty so that the unblured parts may look clear or
other words focused

13.Sharpen tool:To sharpen a particular place in the image.To do that we must select
alt+mouse to target the place and sharpen it.

14.Smudge tool:Used to make the image collapsed.example:the funny face creator used to
make face mutanized uses this effect.

15.Burn tool:Gives a ash effect to the selected parts of the image.

16.Dodge tool:Gives a white foam effect on the selected part.

17.Eye drooper tool:Selects a color on an image and saves it.

18.Hand tool:To move an image.If the image is smaller cant use this tool.

19.Text box tool:To include text in the image.To select the text layers select alt+t,a dialog box
would appear.

20.Sponge tool:To give a dull grey effect over the image.

 ctrl+alt+backspace-to delete the whole tool used

 ctrl+z-undo

 Double click-Layer style

 ctrl+n-new

 alt+backspace-color producer

 ctrl+b-color box
