Local Library - The local library parameter within the list de-
tails the tools that are currently available within the local library
on this machine. It is possible to define a new local library your-
self or use the default one. At any time you can update your local
library with a new tool and then save the new configuration. This
allows the setup of many tool configurations for each machining
centre.

point of the machining operation, and there is also the
ability to use the ‘Pick Elements’ icon to automatically
select a start point.
(iii) Plunge Mode - Allows you to specify how the tool feeds
to the next cut in the operation. ‘Axial’ will move the tool
in the Z axis to the next machining level, ‘Helical’ will
move the tool in a helical feed motion along the Z axis to
the next machining level and ‘Ramp’ will move the tool
in a feed motion along the Z axis, but also ramps down to
the next machining level.
