“CHRISTIANS, GOVERNMENT and MORAL ISSUES”

1. How involved should Christians be in issues that relate to civil


government?

Christians should be involved in every aspect that relates issues


regarding the government. While it may be true that we are
Christians, it must be noted that we are citizens to.

2. Should they vote in elections, write government


representatives, support candidates and speak out about
political issues relating to morality, family and religious
freedom?

As a citizen, one of our rights given by law is the right to vote


where we can directly participate in the running of the government by
choosing our representative. Through our support with the chosen
representative and participation in electing the rightful person for the
position, we are indeed speaking issues relating to morality, family and
religious freedom.

3. What about separation of church and state?

Separation between the two must be observed. Two different


entities with conflicting views may create chaos, misunderstanding and
disaster. The state is composed of different individuals of different
beliefs and religion. To prevent future turmoil and respect be given for
each individual for the beliefs they stand for, there must be separation
of church and state.

4. Should Christians Vote and Express views to rulers?

Christians should vote and express views to rulers. As a citizen,


it is our right to participate in every activities sanctioned by the
government. Religion or being a Christian does not preclude one from
participating to activities which would affect the national government
and eventually rights afforded to each and every one of its citizens.
