Good Morning, Teachers,

Happy Friday! Thank you for your hard work in completing our Interim 2 Benchmark Assessments. We’ve had the
opportunity to dig into the data and we are pleased with the progress that you are making in the first few units of
implementation. Your perseverance and dedication to making the shifts in our program are very reflective in our
overall scores. Although this an overview of our results, we see you making strides in moving students towards
proficiency. You will have the opportunity to dig deeper into your data during your data team meetings, but we
wanted to give you a comparison of our proficiency from Interim 1 (Baseline data) to Interim 2. Kudos to you all!
Please know you are making a difference for our students.

Throughout the week we’ve heard feedback from Principals, teachers, and coaches. We know this is a crazy time of
the year and you are all extremely busy. The last thing we want is for you all to spend your weekend entering
Illuminate scores to meet the deadline instead of spending time with your family or preparing for the upcoming
holiday season. Please do not stress over getting your scores in by Monday. We have extended the Illuminate Writing
deadline to Friday, December 22nd. We hope this helps reduce any angst over the scores and gives you some time for
yourself this weekend.
