Points discussed during the meeting:

1. For all AWFIS projects having banquet spaces, as a design standard the following
concepts to be followed
a. For every 1500 sq.ft. (this is flexible as per the requirements of each
project) of carpet area of Banquet Space, only the following 3 cabin spaces
shall be provided:
i. 1 Meeting Room – 6 pax.
ii. 1 MTG Lounge – 4 pax.
iii. 1. Cabin – 4 pax.
b. Demountable Partitions are not to be used from a cost point of view.
c. No Sliding Folding Partitions shall be provided within the meeting rooms.
d. 1st sheet of all Drawing Sets to be the Area Sheet showing the basis of
calculation of the Carpet Area.
e. We need to get a grip on the Per Sq.ft. cost of all AWFIS projects, for the
purpose of which the process of back calculation to reach final design on the
basis of project budget can be explored.
f. The use of Swing Doors as opposed to the Sliding Doors provided as a design
standard at Nelson can be explored.

2. As per the above mentioned discussion the BOQ shall be divided into 3 sections hence
forth on all AWFIS projects, these two sections are as follows:
a. Base Cost
b. Provisional Cost
c. Total Cost

3. The following processes shall formulate the Base Cost Section of the BOQ:
a. AWFIS Area – Complete
b. Collab Area – Complete
c. Toilets – Complete
d. Banquet Area – The following Heads to be considered:
i. False Flooring
ii. True Ceiling – Painting
 iii. Electrical Conduiting & Wiring
iv. HVAC – Ducting & Grills
v. Raceways/Data – Up to Corridor between AWFIS Space & Banquet
Space

The following processes shall formulate the Provisional Cost Section of the BOQ:
a. Banquet Area – The following Heads to be considered:
i. Partitions
ii. False Ceiling
iii. Electrical – Fixtures & Fittings
iv. HVAC – Fixtures & Units
v. Furniture
