were considered “Big Stuff”; but now people hardly ever use their house
phones. Kmart, Sears, and Toys R Us use to be stores that were a house-

#1 music hit was “Mr. Sandman”; in 1977 was a song “Best of My

Tightly clutching my boarding pass, I boarded the plane at JFK in
New York headed for Germany. We’d deplane there and then be on
our way to Singapore. My final destination, however, would be Bru-

three stops. I was traveling for pleasure—and purpose, as well as on
a budget. The extra stop in Malaysia would save me about $300, just

For The Love Of Adoption

Hi! I’m HEATHER MARSHALL, the blessed wife
of Benson and Momma to a beautiful girl and amazing
little boy…through adoption. I’m a Jesus girl and my
greatest passion is striving to Honor Him in ALL that
I do. I know that everything I have, including these
beautiful children, are from Him! The first time the
“idea” of adoption grabbed my attention was over 10
years ago at a Steven Curtis Chapman concert. You
see, they were highlighting an amazing organization
called Show Hope and I picked up an information
packet. And… that is where it all began! The seed
was planted and although it was slow growing, it did
in fact begin to grow! So, after lots of research, paper-
work, and prayer, we started the process! Since start-
ing the process of adoption (the first time), I have re-
ceived lots of questions from people curious about the
process. They want to know what all is involved and
many—just like us—in the beginning—feel it is just
“I KNOW THAT EVERYTHING I HAVE, INCLUDING too daunting or too expensive of a process. Well, I’m
THESE BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN, ARE FROM HIM!” here to tell you that if GOD has put adoption on your
heart, it’s more than a possibility…it’s likely! If you will just step out on FAITH, GOD WILL
HONOR THAT IN WAYS YOU CANNOT EVEN IMAGINE! God has a heart for adoption;
and He has a heart for you—and what’s best for you! These two precious children are nothing
short of an absolute blessing and inspiration!!! I’m excited to encourage other families and
help them find resources as they research and hopefully embark on the exciting adventure of
adoption. So…whether you’re looking into adoption yourself, helping a friend do some re-
search, or supporting an adopted person in your life, I’m so excited to share my heart for adop-
tion with you! My site will be launching very soon @ ForTheLoveOfAdoption.com. I hope
you’ll stop by for some encouragement or take a minute to sign up to receive Adoption Tips
