Language Points
I Want
To say that you want something in Turkish, use the word istiyorum. You can use it after a verb or noun.
Biraz su istiyorum.
I want a little water.
Gitmek istiyorum.
I want to go.
Do You Want?
To ask if somebody else wants something, use ister misin. Use ister misiniz if you are speaking to more than one
person or need to be especially polite or formal. You will also see istiyor musun and istiyor musunuz, which means
exactly the same thing (but is in the other Turkish present tense).
Su ister misin?
Do you want water?

How Hot?
Ne kadar is most often used to ask how much, but it can also be used to ask about the degree of an adjective.
