Great way to start your 2nd quarter by grabbing the latest iPad.!

First, you have to pre-qualify by submitting and to in-force a minimum 2 cases in April 2018 to
be in the running for the reward. Once you have met the pre-requisite, all you have to do is to
make sure you have a minimum of 10 in-forced cases from the new business submission within
the contest period, which is from 1st April to 31st May 2018. If you are in the Top 888 qualifiers in
highest New Business Annualized Premium (NB-ANP) and having met the minimum 10 submit
and in-force cases, you will be rewarded with an iPad 32GB WIFI. Else, your reward will be
RM888 cash.

Contest Period: 1st April – 31st May 2018 (both dates inclusive)
Qualifying Basis: Submit and In-force within 1st April – 31st May 2018 for GELM only.
Open to all rank on Personal Sales (PS): GSMs, USMs, CAs, LIAs and Agents.

APPENDIX I: TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Challenge period: 1st April – 31st May 2018, both dates inclusive based on policy in-force
(policy issue date).
2. Open to all rank on Personal Sales (PS): GSMs/GAMs, USMs/UAMs, CAs, LIAs and Agents
of GELM only.
3. To qualify for the reward, you must first fulfill the pre-requisite qualifying criteria with
minimum 2 in-force cases in the month of April 2018. Thereafter, you must have a minimum
of 10 in-forced cases within the challenge period, with each case meeting the minimum
premium case size of RM2,400.
4. After you have met the Condition (3) above, if you are the Top 888 in highest NB-ANP, your
reward will be an iPad 32GB WIFI. Else, you will get cash reward of RM888. The following
table summarizes Condition (3) and (4) above.

5. For case count, a minimum new business case size of RM2,400 is applicable to each in-
force case; where the following will NOT be counted as part of the new business case size
requirement:
 For Investment-linked plan: Loaded Great Saver Rider (GSR) / Balancer and Single
Premium Top Up (including Golden Age Enhancer (GAE))
 For Traditional plan: Loaded premium and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
6. The case count requirement is based on in-force new business policies of eligible insurance
plans of GELM, which include regular premiums insurance plans of Traditional (Whole Life,
Endowment, Term Assurance and Standalone Medical Plan), and Investment-linked with the
EXCEPTION to the following plans
 GELM: SmartInvest Premier Insurance 2, SmartInvest Growth Insurance and
Mortgage Reducing Term Assurance (MRTA).
 All other single premium plans, if any;
 Annuity Plan.
7. An exception is given to SmartEducate Saver Insurance policy, for instance a RM2,400 new
business annualized premium can be considered as meeting RM2,400 case size
requirement even though the product design with an auto-split of BIP: 50% and Balancer:
50%.
8. To determine the Top 888 qualifiers with highest NB-ANP, upon meeting the minimum 10
submit & in-force cases, no case size is further required. In other words, NB-ANP with less
than RM2,400 will also be counted as part of the NB-ANP requirement. However, the
following type of premium will be EXCLUDED:
 For Investment-linked plan: Loaded Great Saver Rider (GSR) / Balancer and Single
Premium Top Up (including Golden Age Enhancer (GAE))
 For Traditional plan: Loaded premium and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
9. For the eligible insurance plans (ILP or Traditional) with regular premium payment term of
less than ten (10) years, the NB-ANP or NB-BIP will be weighted with 50% sales
contribution
 E.g. SmartProtect Max (5-PPT / Plan code 0429), SmartEducate Saver (Plan code
0403), Great Premier Wealth 3 (5-PPT/ Plan Code: 0472), Great Flexi Wealth (5-
PPT), Great SecureCare (Plan Code: 0402), Smart Legacy Max (5-PPT / Plan code
0480), and any future insurance plan with less than 10 years of premium payment
option.
10. Eligible new business policy which is free looked, terminated with refund of premium,
surrendered or lapsed within the contest period or during the first policy year will not be
counted for the contest.
11. Prize(s)/Reward(s) is/are non-transferrable and/or reimbursable in any other form.
12. Qualified cases must be in force for a minimum period of 12 months (one policy year) and
must remain meeting the contest requirements.
13. All qualifiers will be subject to a post contest review which will be conducted one (1) year
after the end of the contest. In the event whereby a qualifier fails to maintain their qualifying
cases in accordance to the contest requirements, Company has the right to claw back or
forfeit the reward / cash incentive, wherever is applicable. Hence, we strongly encourage
qualifiers to achieve more than the minimum contest requirement as to minimise the
potential of retrieval of incentive cost.
14. Transfer of new business cases (if any) from one agent (any rank) to another will not be
considered for the contest, as the new business cases shall be considered as remaining
with the original Issuing Agent.
15. Agent of all ranks who is terminated for any reason will automatically cease to participate in
the contest including no reward will be paid, even though the terminated agent may have
qualified for the incentive prior to the termination.
16. Qualifier must continue to hold an active contract (contract must remain in-force) at the time
of distribution of the reward. Where it is found that the agent has been terminated and no
longer holding an in-force contract, the reward will be forfeited.
17. The Company reserves the absolute right to amend, waive, and/or substitute the aforesaid
incentive, criteria and conditions in part or in total at its sole discretion, in the manner and
time it deems appropriate.
18. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Company is final.
