Sub:- Implementation of EPFO e-court Management System-Nomination of
Nodal Officers-Regarding
Sir,
The EPFO e-court Management System has been launched by the Hon’ble
Minister for Labour and Employment (IC) on 16.05.2017 at Bengaluru which is in
tune with the concept of paperless quasi-judicial proceedings in the organisation.
The objective of the project is a transparent and electronic case management
system. It Is a step towards paperless court system wherein court procedure of
EPF & MP Act, 1952 and EPFAT will take place in a digital environment.
2, Once it is rolled out, the parties will be able to file all their
Paper/evidence/documents online and all the details along with their status can be
assessed online. This will also be useful in generation of meaningful and accurate
reports for compliance related policy and legal purposes in EPFO,
3. __ In this regard, in order to operationalize the same across all the offices,
existing Nodal Officer for implementation of e-office in Regional offices are
designated to work as Nodal Officer for implementation of EPFO e-court
Management system also.
4. The Nodal Officer(s) nominated for this purpose shall incorporate the details of
officers handling all ongoing quasi-judicial cases of the following category into the
system and assign the requisite authentication to them to operate the system :
7A, 7B, 7C, 7A, 148, 26B and Recovery Proceedings,
5: Since, the e-court project will run on the Cloud Service of NIC, reliable internet
facilities may be provided to all assessing officers.
