- The defeat of Troy (Trojan War)

- Meidum (a pyramid in Egypt that collapsed when trying to modify it)
- Something to do with magic and playing cards (playing on the fact that you must

Philosophers

L. Ron Hubbard “Nothing is true unless observed by you”

often referred to by his initials ‘LRH’, was an American author and the founder of the church
of scientology

Known to be fairly crazy. He repeated to his wife that he would kill himself if she left him. He
repeated various statements like he would kidnap his children and cut them up just to make
her stay

He developed a philosophy called Dianetics. Dianetics is a set of ideas and practices

regarding the metaphysical relationship between the mind and body. Dianetics has gained
no true acceptance and is still considered a pseudoscience

From Dianetics he developed a series of doctrines and practices in which he created a new
religious movement that he called scientology

Scientology teaches that people are immortal spiritual beings who have forgotten their true
nature.

Contrary to the biblical narrative that shows that the universe was created by a divine, sole
creator, Scientology holds that "the universe was created by theta in the form of
individualized expressions".

Thetans have been described in the Church of Scientology in a number of ways. A "Thetan
is an immortal spiritual being; the human soul." "The being who is the individual and who
handles and lives in the body." "A Thetan is not a thing, a Thetan is the creator of things."
the movement has been the subject of a number of controversies, and has been accused by
critics of being a cult
Frederic Nietzsche

for his critical texts on religion, morality, contemporary culture, philosophy and science. He
