Ready To Drink (RTD) adalah minuman yang
dikemas dan siap untuk dipasarkan dan di
komsumsi. Kemasan RTD yang digunakan
adalah dalam bentuk gelas atau cup plastik,
botol dan kaleng. Beberapa contoh RTD
adalah teh, minuman rasa jeruk , susu uht,
cappuccino, softdrink dll. Teknologi proses
RTD mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat,
kemajuan tersebut terjadi untuk memenuhi
tuntutan pasar yang menginginkan produk
yang steril, memenuhi standar keamanan
pangan, bernutrisi, natural, serta bermutu
tinggi.
