A similar formula to what Dany describes in cell F5 of his workbook and beginning
around the 45 second mark of the video and finishing up around the 3 minute mark
(formula for use with the module 5 lab file), might be:

=SUMIFS(SalesTable[Revenue], SalesTable[Year], 2015, SalesTable[Country],


"Germany", SalesTable[Age Group], "Young Adults (25-34)")

This should sum to 816930 with the Young Adults (25-34) Age Group selected in the
filter (B1)

A similar formula to what Dany describes in cell H5 of his workbook and beginning
around the 4 minute mark and finishing up around the 6 minute mark (formula for use
with the module 5 lab file), might be:
=SUMIFS(SalesTable[Revenue], SalesTable[Year], H$4, SalesTable[Country], $G5,
SalesTable[Age Group], $B$1)

This should sum to 2265877 with the Young Adults (25-34) Age Group selected in the
filter (B1)

A similar formula to what Dany describes in cell H5 of his workbook and beginning
around the 10 minute mark and finishing up around the 11 minute mark, (formula for
use with the module 5 lab file), might be:

= SUMIFS(SalesTable[Revenue], SalesTable[Year], H$4, SalesTable[Country],


$G5, SalesTable[Age Group],IF($H$3="(All)", "*",$H$3))

This should sum to 5712339 with no filter applied (“(All)”) and 2265877 with the Young
Adults (25-34) Age Group selected in the filter (H3)
