Observation: A rack of can goods was found stored in the furnace room
Corrective Action(s): To prevent contamination from the heat in that room move the rack to another location.
3-601.12 - FOODS HONESTLY PRESENTED
Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A gallon of milk was found in the waitress prep area in
the upright cooler passed the expiration date.
Corrective Action(s): Adjust procedures so consumers are not mislead or misinformed. Action Taken: The milk
was discarded, violation corrected.
Code citation: (A) FOOD shall be offered for human consumption in a way that does not mislead or misinform
the CONSUMER.
(B) FOOD or COLOR ADDITIVES, colored overwraps, or lights may not be used to misrepresent the true
appearance, color, or quality of a FOOD.
