My professional and critical response to this book sent to me directly by

Routledge for review is endorsed by the science of Professor David Nutt; who

studied medicine at Downing College, University of Cambridge, graduating in

1972. His clinical training was completed at Guy’s Hospital in Central London

before he embarked on a career at the Radcliffe Infirmary (Oxford’s first hospital)

where his clinical research culminated in a scientific paper on contragonism in a

1982 issue of Nature. He later lectured in psychiatry at the University of Oxford

and edited The Journal of Psychopharmacology. Thus Professor David Nutt has

all the required bio-medical experience to be included in this neutral, scientific

review, without a bias towards North American career counselling.

This review integrates real-life data with neuropsychopharmacology as being

analysed today in the clinical medicine laboratories of the University of

Cambridge; hopefully it can be used as legal evidence to help participate in

political reform constitutionally and diplomacy within democratic constitutions,

across the Avello Publishing Journal’s global footprint. The Handbook’s founding

editor W.B Walsh has continued the unique, pragmatic and applied aspects of the

first edition in this 30th anniversary volume / fourth edition; however technology

1
and medicine has evolved considerably in the practice of career intervention,

thus a fifth edition may be necessary to elucidate how science shapes many

career barriers.

Chapter 5, co –authored by Rottinghaus & Miller, has Figure 5.1 illustrating

cultural and contextual factors (on page 110) that encompass our career

narratives. Biological factors are the psychological core of most dispositional

traits; however the environmental context can not be decontextualized, if we are

to understand the interaction clearly between the components of the social

ecology and vocational elements of everyday life. This is developed more clearly

in the graphs of the predicted trends in Chapter 6; however it is taken in a

different direction, where Portfeli, Lee and Vondracek suggest that testing their

wave model / pattern requires time series data, such as weekly data, spanning a

few years. From my own recent experiences of reversing elements of bio-

chemical and neuro-behavioural manipulation 1 through counter-attacks on those

misusing nano-chips for unfair, unscrupulous abuse; the most sophisticated

nano-chip designs pioneered in a bio-pharmaceutical breakthrough that only the

world’s most advanced bio-tech groups (such as Novo Nordisk) have been able

to manufacture; it has become clear that bio-tech is perhaps the most hidden

method of career intervention used to internally displace or disrupt vocational

behaviour.

A legal and political cover-up have both been unsuccessful to classify secret

these activities between 2010 and 2013; as several Ministers and royal

1
At no point have I ever given my permission or consent to any member of my family to
participate in any form of biochemical, neuronal or synaptic examination to analyse my
biorhythmic patterns of physical, emotional and intellectual activity.

2
entourages have publicly rejected the use of nano-electronics; molecular forces,

nano-composites; chemical bio-physics; focused ion beam systems; carbon

nano-tubes; self-assembly or dissociative recombinations of molecular ions – as

parts of microscopic warfare and espionage to prevent my colleagues and I from

organising music events like the $43, 500, 000 gross revenue producing part of

Robyn Fenty’s world tour between 8th March – 11th June 2013. Walsh, Savickas

and Hartung should have perhaps consulted the current Chief Scientific Adviser

to the U.K Government for access to the data on how this bio-technology (when

combined with diet and other factors) is relevant to the medical industry’s role in

espionage in Ohio State when revising this fourth edition of the Handbook.

The latest research from the Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience

Institute at the University of Cambridge on diet and neurogenesis has

investigated the affect of dietary nutrients on the birth of new neurons. The

chemical – epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) reduces some damage from

oxidative stress in a few neuro-degenerative diseases artificially created in bio-

hacking experiments. This antioxidant has been found in green tea and has also

been implemented in the diets of consenting test-subjects in professional body

building competitions such as the Arlington, Texas police officer Ronnie Coleman

(Grambling State University).

The most salient combination of daily dietary nutrients for neurogenesis is a

careful combination of:

 Early breakfast a.m. 15 egg whites, 3 whole eggs and 1 cup of

oatmeal or grated corn. 1 cup of coffee and / or 1 cup of green tea.

3
 Late breakfast p.m. Whey protein shake. Multi-vitamin and multi-

mineral supplements containing Digestive Enzyme; Glutamine; Zinc;

Vitamin B,C,E.

 Meal III p.m 8oz Steak and redbeans in rice. 1 cup of water.

 Meal IV p.m 8oz Chicken and a baked potato. 1 cup of water.

 Meal V p.m 8oz Fish or Chicken and a slice of cornbread. 1 cup of

water.

Creatine is only recommended as a temporary, dietary supplement for those who

have a career in training sports athletes or teams. Tetrahydrocannibol (as found

in cannabis) is an appropriate medicine to help cure Alzheimers, constipation,

glaucoma, malaria, multiple sceloris and rheumatism (according to Chinese

therapy programs), as well as, to relieve period pain for royal monarchs (such as

Queen Victoria who was given the prescription by her personal physician J.R.

Reynolds); whilst cocaine is specifically recommended as a prescription to

catalyse metabolic changes or alterations to reduce the body’s ability to store

excess fat obscuring muscle definition.

Regular cocaine prescriptions directly help change metabolic processes and

thereby reduces visible body fat which is perfect for world champions competing

in professional bodybuilding competitions that are judged on muscularity, muscle

symmetry and definition. Professor Hugh Perry, Chair of the Neurosciences and

Mental Health Board at the Medical Research Council, who funded the recent

study on cocaine with institutional contributions from the Behavioural and Clinical

4
Neuroscience Institute (BCNI), recently stated ‘credible scientific studies like this

one, which helps dispel misconceptions and address common preconceptions

with reliable data, can only benefit individuals in the longer term’. Anglo-American

government advisors and University of Cambridge leaders should not receive all

the credit for this new scientific research on the medicinal uses of cocaine;

Sigmund Freud’s Über Coca, Centralblatt Fur die Ges (1884) clinical psychiatric

report stated:

Coca, if used protractedly but in moderation, is not detrimental to the body

[…] Coca is far more potent and is a far less harmful stimulant than
alcohol and its widespread utilization is hindered at present only by its
high cost […] long – term use of coca is further strongly recommended
and has been tried with success – in treatment of all diseases which
involve degeneration of the tissues, such as severe anemia, phthisis, long
– lasting febrile diseases, etc; and also during recovery from such
diseases (Freud 1884 289-314)

These scientific facts became apparent to Professor David Nutt whilst he worked

as an advisor to the Ministry of Defence, Department of Health and Home Office,

which resulted in him clashing on several occasions with government ministers

over issues of alleged drug harm and classification. In January 2009 he

published an article in the Journal of Psychopharmacology in which the

consumption or exposure to the drug ecstasy was found to have statistically no

more risk of danger than participating in horse riding. The legal classification of

drugs by the Home Secretary Jacqui Smith during 2009 was later rejected by

Professor David Nutt again in October 2009 after the publication of a pamphlet

containing a lecture delivered at the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies at

5
King’s College London in July 2009. An analysis of illicit drugs according to the

actual evidence of the parameters of harm they cause ranked alcohol and

tobacco to be more harmful than LSD, cannabis and ecstasy. Thus, from a

scientific perspective, alcohol and tobacco are just as harmful as Class B drugs.

From a medical viewpoint he argued clearly that ‘cannabis created only a

relatively insignificant amount of psychotic illness, thus the obscenity of hunting

down cannabis users is beyond absurd’. Following the release of this pamphlet,

Professor David Nutt was dismissed from his position as an official government

adviser for campaigning against government policy on the legislation controlling

drugs by the Home Secretary.

Several senior chemists, Royal Pharmaceutical Society advisors and

clinical Directors of NHS Healthcare foundations responded to his dismissal by

resigning. John Beddington, the Chief Scientific Advisor to the U.K Government

publicly confirmed that he agreed with positive views of Professor David Nutt on

cannabis, replying ‘I think the scientific evidence is absolutely clear cut. I would

agree with it.’ The Science Minister at the time, Lord Drayson, private

correspondence revealed that he was pretty appalled at the big mistake of the

Home Secretary dismissing Professor David Nutt from his position as chairman

of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs for exposing scientific facts.

Undercover police officers and military intelligence agents (such as Ronnie

Coleman’s colleagues) who have spent the last decade (2003-2013) across the

world investigating food supplement tablets in the professional body building

industry have secretly recommended irregular cocaine use during the ripping

6
phase / cycles approaching competitions in classified documents, rather than the

regular use of 0.05-0.10g of Cocainum muriaticum in a 1% water solution the

psychologist Sigmund Freud prescribed in 1884 as cure for the affects of

morphine, cognitive dysmetria and other neural disorders:

The treatment of morphine addiction with coca does not, therefore, result
in the exchange of one addiction for another; the use of coca is only
temporary […] I am rather inclined to assume that coca has a directly
antagonistic effect on morphine. […] Coca as an aphrodisiac. The natives
of South America, who represented their goddess of love with coca leaves
in her hands, did not doubt the stimulative affect of coca on the genitalia.
Montegazza confirms that the coqueros sustain a high degree of potency
right into old age […] among persons to whom I have given coca, three
reported violent sexual excitement which they unhesitatingly attributed to
the coca. (Freud 1884 289-314)

Thus the ego, id and super-ego as defined by Freud’s neuropsychoanalysis can

have some of its illnesses and syndromes treated by cocaine; in particular the

deep depressions often caused by morphine. This prescription is not only

omitted from the Handbook but is also absent from Expanding the Practice of

Sex Therapy: An Integrative Model for Exploring Desire and Intimacy (2013) by

Gina Ogden, also recently published by Routledge’s mental health editors. From

personal experience of a failed psychoneurobiological attack after a liquid,

chemical castration attempt on my glands, immune and nervous systems;

Routledge’s aforementioned, new psychological book should stress the

importance of mutual consent to engagement (prior to marriage then wedlock)

before making permanent hormonal decisions on the behalf of others. Without

7
any preliminary mutual consent for accommodation arrangements, premarital

premises are based on preposterous reasoning.

The passion, sensation, desire, romance and testosterone required on a

biological level for a career in a sports team has a physiological base that can be

manipulated in an almost unseen way through diet and bio-chemical

interventions or inhibitors. Partially castrated or chemically sterilised individuals

usually do not produce enough energy and testosterone to train daily to

professional rugby playing standards, despite consuming the recommended 7,

500 calories; 500g of protein and 800 g of carbohydrates every day.

Inheritance is an important part of post-marriage mutual decisions to have

children and young people’s inherited vocational options. Hereditary peers and

peeresses pass on titles to their children; the Commonwealth marriage between

Catherine Middleton and Prince William Mountbatten – Windsor has passed

down the sovereign title HRH to their baby son George of Cambridge; whilst

relationships between Oxbridge academics might help pass down

uncontaminated, intelligent genes to future generations of back-benchers in the

House of Commons. Long term relationships of romantic bliss between

executives in the United States, will help pass on chromosomes that control

inherited characteristics of executive ability that might constitute the next

generation of leaders in the Senate and House of Representatives. The union of

Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg is

excellent news to all of us who care deeply about the future of European

children’s official duties in global trade and development. On a simpler, less

8
scientific level, the marriage of lovers, is not only a deeply beautiful thing to raise

children between peers and peeresses or university doctoral graduates;

sometimes supermodels also have very beautiful children destined for an

honourable photogenic or cinematic career.

As a proto-feminist, one actively encourages all to remember that all females

are the daughters of previous generations of ladies and gentlemen; thus it

imperative for me personally to enrich or enpower all females globally. My

vocation is not confined to cultivating or feeding integrity, culture and inspirational

spirit to ladies like First Lady Michelle Obama’s daughters, but also to all children

who need help, immunisation or protection from the diseases of irrational hate

and stupidity. This sensitivity and protective treatment of young children is also

compatible with fun! It is healthy for us to teach children how to jet-ski on waves

or play football on the beaches of Nassau in the Bahamas! Royal entourages and

military leaders aside, vocational psychology can also be nurtured in a positive

direction potentially in the children of supermodels such as Naomi Campbell or

Joanna Krupa, if their long-term partners / husbands agree. Joanna Krupa

recently got married to Romain Zago on June 13 2013 at the age of 34 in

Southern California, thus perhaps it is far too early for her to consider if she

wants to have a baby heir yet or if the heir should follow her career path.

W.B Walsh is the founder and charter editor of the Journal of Career

Assessment, whilst his co-authors are professors of family and community

medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University; thus they should be aware of my

vocational compassion for the plight of feminists and the shocking treatment by

9
the Home Office of scientists such as Professor David Nutt for asking ministers to

pursue an evidence – based, scientific approach to drugs. Not all neuroscientists

have been deceived by the recent experiments in Cambridge on internal organs

at the centre of the nervous system; London – based Catherine Malabou, for

example, lectured in July 2013 at Cornell University on emotional life in a

neurobiological age, that much of the inability to act by these patients in some

failed experiments to control emotions, are because of an indifference being built

up to the indifference of those involved, as a result of the loss of the capacity to

wonder or disaffection with the capacity to want to be moved or touched. The

very basic rules of psychology that some of my family members have failed to

grasp, is that one should never live with a person who one wishes to analyse for

a case study. Also before attempting to select an individual to extract data from,

one must make sure that the test-subject does not have the competency to

quickly reverse the project with a counter-project. Despite failing these basic

requirements for a research rubric, it has not prevented a sustained, scientific /

psychological farce (consisting of extrinsic nonsense) occurring in Cambridge

over the past two years and nine months!

Despite the attempted cover-up of the statistical quantity of deaths as a

direct result of prescribed medicines being far greater than those by illegal

narcotics in North America and the unwitting bio-surgery (under anaesthetic)

being executed by some bragging surgeons at the University of Cambridge’s bio-

medical campus to remotely and partially control intermittently all senses - as

well as - grip in some patients without their consent; we are not boycotting these

10
surgeons and biomedical members of staff, instead with as much grace as

possible, we continue our careers with humble, elegant beauty. One refuses to

have a negative attitude, one continues to be polite and considerate; one

continues to ignore unattractive remarks; one continues to reject graceless

behaviour; one remains kind and generous whilst cringing at transparently

jealous people, who should be focusing on reassessing their growth forecasts to

safeguard a sustainable future of happiness.

Part of the Avello Publishing Journal’s international impact has been to help

catalyse the creation of Amendment 64 in Colorado, which permits the personal

growing of cannabis for medicinal use by adults over the age of 21 (in the homes

of Colorado’s citizens) by legislative and judicial law. Politicians alongside judges

in both Colorado and Washington decided that Amendment 64 might help stop

some of the pirate trade of THC in to some of the 360 commercial ports of

America, where hidden in the goods of container vessels of the trillion dollar

annual takings, medicinal cannabis oil is often imported in disguised boxes or

barrels of crude oil. The container shipping industry is a largely invisible industry

operated by Danish companies such as Maersk, which is active in 130 countries

and has a fleet of 600 vessels. Cargo departures and shipping news can be

found in the Journal of Commerce, and we should not forget that when Sir

Winston Churchill’s funeral barge left Tower Pier in London it embarked in front of

the lowered jibs of dock cranes. Thus the legal shipping of petroleum,

pharmaceuticals and the illegal shipping of plants (like the dried leaves and

flowers of cannabis) all together creates hundreds of thousands of jobs and has

11
aided both America and England from several global economic downturns.

Political lawyers in Washington and Colorado have taken the measure of

innovative social responsibility to undercut the prosperity of some shipping

pirates by installing the initiative that has now been made official in Amendment

64. America’s net government debt currently stands at 70 % of gross domestic

product, perhaps more fiscal discipline to improve its economy is needed and

more scientific facts need to be revealed about cannabis resin and cocaine;

which many pharmacologist’s prescribe as romantic treats or pleasurable

anaesthetics for special occasions – such as honeymoon or wedding anniversary

celebrations. Marilyn Monroe was given a strand of pearls by Joe Di Maggio (her

second husband) while on honeymoon in Japan in 1954; a period of time when

Baluga caviar, cocaine, Lebanese hashish and vintage Dom Perignon

champagne fuelled many of Hollywood’s most iconic jeweller’s film premiere

secret after-parties. The indulgence of these pleasurable medicines, has been

undermined by the Home Office in the U.K as an illegal luxury misused by

supermodels at glamour conventions such as the star Kate Moss; however Hugh

Hefner is an example of an editor who has balanced interviews with the political

hero Martin Luther King and the existentialist Jean Paul Sartre with dazzling

beauty in his Playboy magazine.

The Handbook of Vocational Psychology: Theory, Research, and Practice

is an excellent purchase and should be translated in to French and Spanish, as it

will become popular in the academic life of San Antonio, Ibiza. University of

Illinois at Urbana Champaign psychology graduate Hugh Hefner’s favourite film is

12
Casablanca, thus it might be wise to put on a tuxedo and analyse this book in the

context of another culture – such as that of Tenerife, as most of the contributors

to the book are North American. It is a tribute to the vision and genius of our

publishing consortiums teaching vocational psychology to other cultures, where

by developing the receptive skills of others, we begin to fully understand our own

treatment of stress in phrasal verbs, phonetics, verb coding, psychological

lexicography and words used only in British English in comparison with their

American English equivalents.
