X. COURSE CONTENT:
Review: BJT and MOSFET working principle and their small signal equivalent circuit;
Transistor Biasing and Stability; Amplifiers: Mid Frequency Small Signal Analysis, Multistage
Amplifiers: Darlington pair and Cascode amplifiers; Frequency response (low and high
frequency), Differential Amplifier, Operational Amplifier applications and circuits; Feedback,
Active filters, Oscillators.

XII. ASSESSMENT SCHEME:


Mid Term = 20 %, Assignment = 10 %, Quizes 15%, Lab. = 20 %, End Term Exam = 35 %.
Grading: Relative
Passing Marks: 33% individually in lab. and theory exams i.e. 7 marks in lab and 27
marks in theory.
To get pass grade in the course, you have to acquire passing marks individually in laboratory
and theory exams as explained above.
