ensuring absolute tightness under pressure.
● the long pattern intermediate support arm fig. 1156T can be combined with the level
gauges fig. 1156 or fig. 1156B/1159. (see page 229 and 230)

application: Because of their compact construction, the level gauges fig. 586/587/588 are
often used on board of ships, for lubricating oils, water, etc. They are suitable for
open or closed tanks. In case of pressure tanks fig. 589 is recommended.
In high tanks one could better make use of two or more connecting pieces in
order to avoid an increased risk of breaking of very long glasses.
