ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

Activity Title: Information Dissemination of Solid Waste Management program of


the College

Training Description:

The basic security procedures training program is intended to provide participants with
the occupational and behavioral skills and attitudes, as well as concepts and knowledge
necessary to function effectively as a security guard. The subjects covered are intended to
provide a sound basis on which to deal with any on-the-job situations.

Rationale:

Security guards need to respond to changes in their environment, which includes


actions such as traffic movement, ensuring the safety of persons between and within
locations, monitoring and managing the access and departure of persons and vehicles and
observing and monitoring people. They need to be aware of the correct way to deal with
these situations. The training will provide the knowledge and skills to assess the security of
physical environments, to apply basic aspects of security in their roles and to assess the
impact of drug use in the context of safety for oneself and others.

Security services must understand that continuous and effective training is the key to
quality service and employee development. This training is designed to deliver fully trained
professional personnel to meet the needs and to ensure personnel are knowledgeable about
industry trends and best practices.
The trainer provides a summary of the principal duties and responsibilities necessary
to work effectively in the security industry. Trainees will learn to interpret and comply with
the legal requirements of their occupation as well as identify job roles and responsibilities.

Training Objectives:
The training aims to achieve the following:
1. Develop and promote the habits, skills and actions required to provide exceptional
security service;
2. Acquire essential skills to resolve crisis situations with minimal anxiety and maximum
security.
