NATIONAL CONGRESS REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

1. Only Chapter Presidents or any one (1) officer from each chapter are allowed to submit
registration forms and requirements via email (uapsa.silvercon@gmail.com)
2. The Early Bird Registration will run from April 16 - 18. All requirements (waivers, registration
forms, and payments) shall be settled within that time period to avail the Early Bird Discount.
Mechanics of the Early Bird Registration will be published days prior to its running period.
3. A partial list of delegates who successfully availed Early Bird Discount shall be published by
UAPSA National on April 19 at 9:00 PM.
4. Regular Registration shall run from from April 21-28. All requirements (waivers, registration forms,
and payments) shall be settled within that time period.
5. An official and final list of delegates shall be published by UAPSA National on April 30 at 9:00
PM.

The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA), the prime and duly-
recognized student organization of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), and the
national organization known to cater Architecture students by organizing seminars, events, and
activities for its members’ academic and personal well-being. As a junior arm of the professional
organization, the student auxiliary brings together all affiliated architectural schools with the aim
of gearing up students towards professionalism, camaraderie, and selfless service. As part of the
endeavors to reach 11,200 members from different respective schools nationwide, UAPSA will
be celebrating its 25th National Congress entitled LEGACY: The Silver Congress. It is known to
gather members to grant them distinctive experiences through our programs and activities and
continues its excellent performance.

Listed below are the activities and programs that will be conducted on the event.

• First, a series of seminars to be given by renowned and respected architects from the
United Architects of the Philippines will be conducted in relevance to the broadening of
the scope of ASEAN Integration in the country. This will give a head start to all participants
as to how they should face the changing phase of their future profession.

• Second, a Business Meeting and the Chapter Presidents Assembly for the chapter
presidents of UAPSA Area A, B, C and D will be conducted simultaneously with the
seminars, so as to give an opportunity for all the chapters to provide the UAPSA National
the recent updates regarding the chapters’ accomplishments and future plans for the
members.

• Third, a Leadership Development Program is arranged to develop in all the members the
spirit of unity, camaraderie, healthy collaboration, and teamwork. It will be held at
Adhara Botique Resort in Oton, Iloilo.

• Fourth, the UAPSA National Election on which we encourage the general members to
take part of this year’s election and be involved on choosing the future leaders of this
organization. This event will also help the members to know the future plans and
apparition for the awareness, improvement, and development of the whole UAPSA
community.

• Fifth, the Fellowship Night: Awards night, Mr. and Ms. UAPSA will be staged to provide
time for everyone to communicate and get to know everybody for a more fruitful stay in
the congress. Awards will be given, especially the Mr. and Ms. UAPSA title to the deserving
UAPSA members who will serve as the role models of intellect, passion to serve, and
professionalism present in the assembly.
Please be informed that your son/daughter has expressed his/her intentions of joining the activity
program. To ensure the safety of your son/daughter, please be informed of the following operating
procedures for the activity of the organization:

2. An ocular visit and coordination with the venue management has been conducted by the
officers of the organization.

3. The facilities proximate to the venue which may be necessary for emergency situations
have been identifies. Should you allow your son/daughter to join the aforementioned
activity, kindly fill out the attached “Statement of Parental Consent” and return it to the
assigned officer of the United Architects of the Philippines – Student Auxiliary, along with a
photocopy of your identification card, and email it with the requirements given.

12, 2018 at Bearland Paradise Resort in Tigbauan, Iloilo and Adhara Botique Resort in Oton,

In connection with the abovementioned activity, I hereby warrant and represent that:

I take it as my responsibility to take the necessary precaution or care of avoiding or getting


involved in any incident that would cause slight, serious or mortal injury upon my person or
results in the loss or damage to my property and that of another person.

I also understand that I am not to engage in any behavior that could or may lead to any
incident or could result to loss or damage to property, injury to myself or other person(s).
I understand that it is my responsibility to fully ascertain, if necessary with the help of a medical
professional, my physical and mental fitness to join this activity.

I understand that I must be sufficiently healthy or free from any medical condition that may
be exacerbated or aggravated by my participation in such an activity. Should I be suffering
from any medical condition that may be aggravated or exacerbated by such an activity, I
commit to immediately report such condition in writing to the assigned faculty adviser and
excuse myself from such an activity.

person concerning the nature of the activity which I am joining and likewise secured their
advice on the measures which I am to undertake for my personal safety and security.
