Flowers on the altar this Sunday are sponsored by Jerry & Jan Sokol in celebration of their
55th wedding anniversary; and by Deb Freese in memory of Don. The additional
arrangement is sponsored by Ken & Susan Hansen celebrating Ken’s birthday. Thank you to
those who sponsored last weekend but never saw the flowers due to the blizzard: Deb &
Gary Benson for Mother’s Day and in honor of sister Chris’ birthday; and by Steve & Peg
Bierhaus in memory of loved ones. The beautiful red flower arrangements were taken to
the Vet’s Home and shared with Jerry Sebade and Kenneth Wrick.

Prior to 8:30 AM worship this weekend, we will be playing a recording of Setting 8’s sung
liturgy from the ELW Hymnal. During Pentecost we will learn the new setting and use it in
worship for a few months. Setting 8 is a bit lighter and the music is easy to learn. The Kyrie
is often sung at the late service, so it may even sound familiar. Enjoy listening!

LAST WEDNESDAY LECTIO, scheduled for April 25, has been moved to the first Wednesday in May.
In addition to May 2, we will meet again on the last Wednesday, May 30.
