 Summary:
 In the article, they are explaining that physical education is not meeting the
national standards in the United States. This all comes from the increase
percentage of overweight and obese students in K-12 physical education. The
article explains that this is put on the physical educators who are not addressing
this problem in their activities. This pushes physical educators to change up their
activities to give over weight and obese students the motivation to live a healthier
lifestyle outside of school. With activities that leave over weight and obese
students feeling self-determined they will be more likely to continue their
involvement in the activates. This in hand could lead to students engaging in more
physical activity outside of school.
