Bed Doll Babies
Ongginal Despgns by Annie Potter
Designed to fit 10” to 14” Baby Dolls
Materials: Materials for cach individual doll are list-
ed with individual pattems. Red Heart yarns were
used in most of these patterns. If you have trouble
finding the colors in the stores near you, you may
call Red Heart Customer Services at 1-800-648-
1479 for mail order information.
‘Some 4 ply yarns work up smaller than the Red Heart
yarns and may need a larger hook, so it is important
to make a gauge swatch.
Gauge With 4 ply yam and F hook
4dc=1"
2 rows de = 1”
(For gauge swatch ch 15 and then work 5 rows of de
with ch 3 tum at end of each row.)
If your swatch turns out smaller than ours then you
need to use a larger hook, if it is bigger then you
need to use a smaller hook. If you need to use a
smaller or larger hook to match the gauge below,
you will also need to do the same thing when com:
ing across different hook sizes throughout pattern.
‘Small Flowers for bouquets and dresses: in
order to find flowers small enough you will probably
need to buy larger flowers that are made up of many
tiny flowers. See photo for colors.
Basic Pieces
PILLOW FORM
A larger hook is used for the pillow than for
the doll dresses. The finished pillow may seem
very loose, but remember it does not show. It
is to give the dress skirt a very smooth surface
to fit over.

Place foam circle in bottom of pillow. Stuff pillow
lightly with fiber fill, leaving room for doll to sit in
middle. It is very easy to overstuff this pillow. Try
not to do that. IF pillow seems to big after placing
dress on doll, remove some of the fiber fill. Place
doll in pillow in a seated position, put some fiber fill
on top of doll's legs, tie snugly around doll
