T room
Lighting Information:
The classroom will have built in ceiling lights if I
wanted the entire room lit up. As well as the
light from each computer surrounding the
space. However the “office type” lights will be
too bright for the scene I want to create.
Sound Information:
This location is a class room in an active college,
which means that there will be students
walking to lessons all day. This will cause lots of
noise that would be picked up by any
microphone used.
Power Information
All of the equipment used runs off battery
power, so if I don’t have anywhere to charge
this equipment I can’t shoot my music video.

Solutions:
Instead I will chose to film with the built in
lights turned off, only having my external LED
light panel and the practical light emitted from
the computer screens. I will also draw all the
blinds so the room is as dark as it can be before
I use my lighting rig. This is also so that the
contrast between the light and dark areas are
extreme.
Solutions:
Since I’m making a music video, any audio
recorded will be overdubbed with the song.
Meaning that I don’t need to worry about my
microphone picking up any unwanted audio, as
it won’t be used in the final outcome.
Solutions:
However I don’t need to worry about this that
much, since the classroom will have many
sockets for me to charge any things like my
camera. Some equipment such as my LED light
panel runs off AA batteries, so I need to bring
some extra batteries just in case they run out.
Hazards
The biggest obstacle I face is that other
students may be in the class room or around
the area when filming. This is something that
can’t happen as it runs the risk of interfering
with my filming.
Solutions:
Therefore I need to pick a time where no
students will be in the classroom. The best time
is a Wednesday afternoon since most people
have a short day, so I can film likelihood of not
being interrupted by any student.
